My wildlife nature adventure as my photographer son's 'porter and driver' has driven me to love Borneo even more. One of the many little town's we ventured into is Kota Belud, where we found paradise amidst the Sayap Crocker Range.

On the way up to Kota Belud one will not miss seeing the many road side 'sulap sulap' that sells fruit, jagung bakar (barbeque corn on cob), weaved baskets, mats and snake sticks. A must stop to have a chat with the villagers who run these 'organic boutiques' and maybe buy a couple of corn on cob to devour while on the road.
